AboutYour Support |
The festival hub is a restored two-storey Georgian schoolhouse situated in the South Cork village of Minane Bridge. The original building, dating from the 1820's, has been extended to include a state-of-the-art theatre, which is fast becoming a destination for cultural events in County Cork and beyond. It showcases art house film, amateur and professional drama and a wide variety of live music performances. Musicians, who love to perform in the intimate 120 seat space with its excellent acoustics, have included Martin Hayes and Denis Cahill, the Vanbrugh String Quartet, Mick Flannery and John Spillane, to name but a few.
Last year, our festival attracted over 2,500 people. Tracton Arts Festival was featured in the Irish Examiner and on Cork’s 96fm radio station. The organisers are all volunteers and we are a non-profit making charity. To keep up our high standard, the variety of performances and to cover our running costs, we are seeking your support. If you feel that you would like to make a donation, no matter how large or small, we would really appreciate your help. All our sponsors will be listed publicly. Sponsors who donate over €200 will be recognised with their logo as associate partner in print and online and we will also have complimentary tickets to some of our festival performances!
